Brilliant human Anna Kendrick took the stage early Sunday night (Jan. 26) to present the Best New Artist award with Pharrell Williams (spoiler alert: Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won). The “Pitch Perfect” actress made a hilariously on-point joke about having intended to perform “Drunk in Love” with Pharrell, but unfortunately for her and everyone everywhere, she was too sick to rehearse and thus the academy had to scramble to find an adequate replacement.
